Has anyone made any tests or heard of any tests or reviews on the new "wonder" steel ZDP-189? I hear everyone raving about it but came up empty when I googled zdp-189 tests and reviews. I have read about a couple guys cutting up cardboard but nothing scientific, like say, cliff stamp or some of the other expert reviewers on Blade forums.

Go to the Spyderco forum here and at Spyderco.com and check out how many folks are raving about the Calypso Jr. in burgundy with ZDP-189 that came out last year as a sprint run. I can't recall seeing any complaints about it, minus how fast it sold out. Several folks also went back and more of them.

I am a ZDP-189 fan; and therefore have pre-ordered a Delica & Jess horn knives in ZDP-189! It is amazing!!

Me, I'd like to find a knife in ZDP-189 that I can actually buy. Well, one that doens't use a button lock at least.

Use the advanced search option here to get some in-depth comments on ZDP-189. Cliff and quite a few others commented on it several times in recent months. Check for instance post 18 of this thread:

Cliff also has some information on his website.

Well, Spyderco is coming out with a ZDP Delica, I believe that will be out next month. And the Jess Horn ZDP, which will be out in July. But, you can pre-order the Jess Horn now. And all have excellent prices!!
