Funny how life runs in circles. I started my appreciation of fine pocket knives with a Vapor, then upgraded to the Leek. That was a long time ago, and having gone through a lot of high end folders (AirKat Tripwire, Hinderer Flame, SnG, SmF, AR, ZT302, ZT0200, RJ Martin Mag, Folts Hawkbill, Ontario/Hossom, Sebenza, Mnandi) I finally found the one. Great job Kershaw, it's a sizable knife in fantastic steel built on a rock solid titanium frame. I really liked the ZT series, but I live about a 10 min. drive from the Pentagon. People really do not like knives around here, period. I can definetly see myself picking up a few others in the future, anyone have any suggestions??? So far I want the MUDD folder, SG2 JYDII, and composite D2 Leek.

The ZDP/Ti Mini-Cyclone is a fine knife.

I'd suggest checking out the Blur in SG2 or S30V (or both...:D) The Blur's a liner lock in anodized aluminum, so no Ti frame, but the 3 I have are rock solid. I EDC one every day.

Ray :)

All three knives on your want list are great knives.
You should also check out the Spec Bump, another great, though very different knife.

A senior moment for sure for me...forgot about the Bumps momentarily...:o They're truly fantastic knives, and their Stud Lock is truly solid and innovative.

And following the lead of kneedeep, a wiser forumite, I'll also mention that you have fine choices already on your list. ;)

the SG2 Blur.... this man speaketh the truth my friend.

Thanks a lot for the suggestions guys. I was wondering about the Bumps, how similar are they to the Offset?? I gifted one as a birthday present to a good friend of mine, but it is way to aggressive to carry here. The Offset is unbelievable comfortable though, so if the Bumps are close, and sheeple friendly, then I definetly have to pick one up.

The SG2 Blur, what is the deal on SG2??? I have heard high premium stainless, but is it ZDP-189 like or more towards S60V & BG-42??

BTW anyone thinking about any ZDP Kershaw, get one. This Cyclone is amazing. I use a super sapphire stone from my Lansky and it's a light saber at 40 degrees.

The Bumps are very similar to the Offset in the ergonomics department. Give one a try. You won't be disappointed.

I suppose if you had to compare SG2 to something ZDP would be about as close as you can get. Both are somewhat brittle and are often clad with other steels. The sharpest knife out of the box I have ever owned was a Ti SG2 JYDII.
