ZDP Mini Cyclone Being Sneaky

So i gave my ZDP mini cyclone thorough tune up last week including an alcohol bath, and a full militec-1 grease treatment. im sure i put it back together right as the thing works and flips better than when i took it apart.

interestingly enough i was leaving it on manual a decent amount of time today (mostly for flipping practice and spyderco drops)–but several times i opened it in manual and when i closed it the torsion bar had been engaged and i swear that i never touched the switch. its not loose. but it seemed noteworthy as it had a mind of its own.

That's odd.....
Pardon my noobishness, but where can you get this "militech 1" stuff? I want to clean my knives up too.

how tight is that screw for the on/off wheel? sounds like maybe doing those spydie drops could have loosened it and maybe (how im not sure. vibration of blade opening?) knocking it into the "on" position.

did you open it after the bar engaged by itself and it opened assisted?

either way, that is a strange happening

militec-1 is availiable from their website direct. just google it. the screw isn't all that tight anyway. its more of a washer anyhow, and who knows, i think really i was not paying attention to the knife when opened (go me) and i rubbed the wheel back into the engaged position. ill experiment more today and see if it replicates without my "help"

oh, and yes i opened it afterwards and it was in full speedsafe mode.
