Zebra Pattern Damascus Zulu

This Zulu was a 3-part experiment. Scott had the zebra pattern in his head and just had to try it. He's also been itching to dry dry welds (no flux in this pattern), and the finish is unique as well. The 1080/15n20 pattern welded steel in this Zulu has a matte finish we're calling Tac-mascus. While the pattern is crystal clear, the brighter lines are not shiny so the steel has dark tactical essence that is quite nice.

That is fantastic. What a pattern for that style of knife.. It's what those "tac" knives with the painted stripes wish they were.

I got a kink for that pattern after seeing it on a Shawn McIntyre knife. :thumbup:

You did a great job with it, and it flows with the knife beautifully. Really loving that nice and slender guard lug as well. Of course it's a great looking piece in general, as I expect from you! :)

The Zulu is one of my favorites of your knife designs. And this one is the best looking Zulu so far!! I love it! :thumbup::thumbup:
