I would like to know if this brand of straight razor is useable. At least good enough to get started with.
I searched the auction place and that's the one that looks like the safest bet for entry dollars.
Please let me know of other brands or key words to look for in the lower prices that are useable blades.

Thanks.
Nate

Zeepk is total crap. Made in Pakistan. You couldn't get it sharp enough to shave if you wanted to, and if you did accidentally manage to get it shaving sharp, it wouldn't last through half a shave. Look for Solingen, Sheffield, U.S., or Swedish brands. (Boker, Wade & Butcher, Torrey, Eskilstuna, etc.) Those are safe bets. With the market the way it is right now, be prepared to spend a bit for a good one. There's lots of cheap garbage ones out there, but the good ones are going much higher than they used to. You should still be able to pick up an excellent condition one off ebay for less than $50.
