In 2011 I bought my wife a Zeiss Compact 10X25 pair of binoculars for a trip to South Africa, they did not come cheap. Flash forward to 2024, were traveling in Australia and my wife tells me that her binoculars aren’t focusing. I try them out, and sure thing, no focus. I contact Zeiss and they tell me to ship them to their US repair center in Kentucky. So, I ship them from Australia and wait. Then I get an email from Zeiss stating that they can’t be repaired and that that model has been discontinued. So they are sending me a brand new Victory Pocket 10X25 as a replacement. Retail $899! 13 years of use, they stand behind their products. Lifetime, transferable warranty.
