Zenon bulbs for Lithium

I have been using e2 titanium in both my mini mag and solitaire. Now that we are able to get AA Lithium in Botswana are there performance bipin Zenon bulbs I can obtaing to increase the mini mag lumens, justifying the considerably added expense of the Lithium?

No, but the higher voltage will make the bulbs you have brighter.

Thanks, I will try it, if the Titanium improved performance significantly the Lithium should be better. I hope that the improved brightness isn't akin to a flashgun, something that I have a tendency to achieve.

Lithium AA cells are not recommended for some LEDs (thermal runaway is a very disappointing experience -- a LED doesn't explode or even go pop; it just goes out) but I think you'll be safe putting lithiums in a Maglite. No doubt bulb life will be reduced, but the bulbs will still last a long time. They're not overdriven to start with.
