Zero Bevel?

What exactly is a zero bevel in a chisel ground knife?

No secondary bevel. The primary grind goes directly to the edge. This is found on v-grinds also, and is what is known around here as a "Scandi" grind.

I see, thanks. So what does it mean when a a knife has a conventional v-grind as the primary bevel but is still chisel ground? if I understand correctly, this how it looks. Is this correct?

thats correct. i make a chisel grind like the drawing on the left but with a half convex edge. emerson knives are like the drawing on the right.
