Zero Tolerance 0300 Question

I have a potentially stupid question about the frame lock bar on the Zero Tolerance 0300 :D. I've noticed in pictures that some frame lock bars are uniform in thickness throughout, but some Kershaw, Zero Tolerance, and Strider frame lock bars are thinned out at the base. Would this potentially weaken the frame lock bar? I'm thinking the thinnest section of the frame lock bar is about as thin as, or thicker than most liner locks; it's also made out of titanium so it must be very strong. My question really pertains specifically to the Zero Tolerance 0300 because that's the knife I have my eye on. Anyway, if someone could please enlighten me about the strength of the thin section of the frame lock bar on the aforementioned knives, I would really appreciate it. Thank you kindly.

LLL frame locks are thinned in order to make them flexible enough for the frame to engage the blade and lock. The ones you are seeing that appear not to be thinned are just thinned on the iside.

I have a ZT0300 it doesn't weaken it at all. In fact the ZT0300 impressed me so much that I purchased a ZT0301 as well. Exceptional knives.
