Hey guys, finally going to go pick up the Zero Tolerance 0350, iv'e been wanting one for months, from all the reviews and videos ive seen Zero Tolerance makes some great quality folders and i need a really well built EDC that's going to see pretty heavy use. I finally have the money to get one so i'm going Friday to pick one up, (at inflated Canadian prices!) i'm going with the 0350TS model the one with the striped blade and no serrations, anybody want to talk me down or is there anything i need to be aware of before jumping? thanks guys!

Great knife. All the ZT knives I have are really nice folders. Probably the best production folders on the market today.

my has never had any issues and held up to all the needs I have from working on cars cutting hoses/belts etc to camping chores and even peeling fruit. It opens with a nice "thwack" and is locked up solid. good stuff, you will love yours.

The only thing I don't like about mine is that it rides fairly high in the pocket when you have it in the tip-up orientation. Other than that it's pretty much perfect.

I've had mine only a few days, its awesome mine however did arrive with a small amount of side to side blade play. Tightened the pivot and voila perfect. Totally have no regrets on buying it....

My hand tends to feel a bit cramped with the grip on the 350. The 300 grip fits my hand much better. The 350 is a great knife. Mine locks up solid. It cuts pretty good too.

thanks for the input guys, i picked it up! now for an afternoon of chopping up whatever i can throw at it and see how it holds up!, i'll post some pics later, flicking and cutting are more important right now!

Great knife, but realize that a lot of them will have a blade that doesn't sit centered when closed. In fact all of the ones I've handled, including the one I owned myself at one point, had blades that weren't centered when closed. The torsion bar pushes the blade to one side when closed, even on some top dollar makers removed from the factory side of knife making. That's just how it is. I've even sent the knife back to Kershaw, and it came back the same way. I've seen other makers with assist mechanisms where the blade also sits not centered when closed. There's also a guy here right now that has his knife at Kershaw for the same "problem." I use quotes because it's not really a problem, but just how the knife is (and how knives tend to be with this type of assist mechanism). Can they be centered? Probably yea, but they have a way of going back to sitting closer to the locking bar side since the torsion bar sits on the opposite side. BTW, this is only on the 0350s. I'm not sure about the 030x series. Have had limited handling with those. I suspect because they use a bigger pivot, the force exerted by the torsion bar is negated and the blade sits centered, but on the 0350s, this is not the case.

It's a non-issue IMO, but if this bothers you, you should know.

EDIT: BTW, Kershaw/ZT customer service is top notch all the way.

Great ZT, just a little small for my hand so I traded mine off. One thing that I would warn you about is that you will develop an addiction for the flipper....:D

very nice solid knife...does everything very well...love the "thunk" sound when opening...the handle is small in my hand though.
