So I didn't really want to have to go through the fight for the 0392 on release, so I didn't, but then ZT sent this to my mailbox just now...





I hate you ZT...I hate you sooooo much. I will be in the fight for these. Be sure of it.

I agree. The original 0392 was nice, yeah, but it didn't really do it for me.
THIS on the other hand...well, I'm getting a little tight in the pants looking at it...

Don't really like that it will be a server-crashing, beat-your-face-on-your-keyboard kind of thing to get one though...and it will be I'm sure.
 
i got an 0392 in my cart and put in my info, but when i hit confirm it was spinning forever and i missed out. this thing is so sick, im gonna have to try again.
 
This is like when Reate released the Horizon A with blue highlights and then the Horizon C with dark wash and gold highlights.
I dig this one way more. Gonna be a ridiculous feeding frenzy for it though..., so enjoy that
 
Looks sweet enough. I guess i will be in the hunt as well. Pretty much been collecting all of their past LEs so might as well be on a mission to own all KAI's LEs whenever they come out.
 
What they should do is release it on April 5th. Its Easter and most people will be preoccupied and will give the chance of non-"scalpers" to get one. Plus, its my birthday.:D:jerkit:
 
Saw this email. Hnnnnggg...Do I spend the $400 on this or on an SMF that I've been saving for...argh...
 
Not really into black wash and gold. Trying not to get caught up in the hype that caused me to be a ZT0392 owner but stranger things have happened. I hope spring time weather has me too busy to bother with this one.

They will anounce the list of authorized dealers via email to those who are on their subscription list the day before it comes out. We should all get the email on April 1st. And they've sworn no April fools...

Really want this, but I don't know how I'm going to handle the insane overflow and site bogging like the last time. Not looking forward to it...at all.
 
So they give a list of dealers that has them, then you pretty much have to fend for yourself to find one available?
 
Oh snap! Here we go again. lol.

At least the release date is right around the corner.

I wonder if 0392 scalpers are going to drop their prices with this news?

Basically someone buys a very valuable or limited edition knife for the explicit purpose of selling it for a profit. Sure, the dealers are going to have limits on how many you can buy, but someone who is a real scalper will be trying to buy form every dealer that gets them, and will then turn around and sell a knife that has an MSRP of $400 for $675 or something unreasonable, without ever having any intention of actually keeping the knife at all.

Happens with tickets to popular events a lot too. They will buy a ton of tickets, thus shortening the number of tickets available overall, and then sell them at a higher price once they force the event to sell out, making them the only people who you can buy any tickets from at all.
