Are the Zero Tolerance 0550 and 0560 models in standard production? What I'm asking I guess is once they sell out its not like you won't be able to get one any more right?

yeah, does anyone have any word on when the 0560 will finally be ready??? I've had one pre-order for ever

I believe the 0550 is a production model, while the 0551 is a "Sprint run" per say. I'm guessing it'd be the same for the 056X series, but don't quote me on that.

The 0550 & 0560 will be regular production knives. Due to some recent events, Kershaw/ZT has stopped any further First Look threads, and due to some people that rage out have stopped announcing release dates all together. Basically, they will be out when you see them in stock at your favorite knife stores. As to availability, everything runs off of production schedules. Most manufacturers produce a specific line of knives until a quota is met, then they might switch to another model, others will produce a multitude of models concurrently until the quota is met, then move onto another group of knives.

Both the 0560 and the 0561 will be regular production models. The only difference between the 0561 and the 0560 is the color of the G10 scale (0560=black, 0561=flat dark earth). And, it looks like the initial run will be 0560's (at least that's the impression I got from the main thread...).
