This is the sweetest flipper I have owned. Although I have never owned a 100% hand built custom folder, I have owned the Para 2 and Sage 2, so those are my highest reference points.

The 0560 really does encompass next gen architecture. it's not revolutionary. but evolutionary.

The KVT bearing system is almost too smooth. the blade is in zero gravity while past the detent and before lockup. You have to make 100% sure your fingers are not in the path of the cutting edge cuz the blade is just hanging in the air. The only sensation i can compare it to is when you are playing air hockey at the arcade and the puck is gliding over the surface with air pushing up from the holes. it is that SMOOOTH.

My 0560 serial is #1204 and i have a more matte grey bead blasted finish on the titanium lock side. I actually prefer this to the initial specs of stone wash. love the finishing as it wont rip up pants. The black g10 is 3d machined to perfection. provides great grip

I have yet to cut a thing with this knife so i cant comment on the Elmax steel. I am not going to murder paper with it. I rather bring along for my summer camping/hiking trips and report back then.

So far the dna sings to me are:

1. chunk of titanium!
2. lightweight for it's frame
3. KVT is scary smooth
4. Interior milling of both titanium and the opposing scale is artwork!!!
5. The laser cut frame lock is the stuff of Lexus precision. (US bills fits between the lock cutout, but i cannot fit a business card. that is very very tight tolerance for the laser cut frame lock)
