I've had a few of these for about a week now.
I haven't really carried it as an EDC, just messing with it at
the house and work. That being said my review just covers
what I can see and feel, just not from an EDC standpoint.

The 3D machining of the handle is really nice. Gives a nice grippy
texture without being grippy. If you know what I mean.
Very light. Much lighter than I anticipated.

The blade, although now, not my favorite shape looks good with
it's serrations and steep angle to the tip.
I would really prefer a spearpoint blade as a lot of you probably do as well.
The 154CM should hold up decently well. I have a few blades with that
now and they haven't given me any real trouble.

The safety is in the perfect place. So easy to disengage and re-engage
after opening the knife. Button is more prominent than most autos I've
carried, but it never opened in my pocket with the safety off. The button
must be depressed at least 85-90% of the way into the handle before it will
spring into action. So, being higher than the handle surface makes it easier
to find the button and having to engage the button into the recess makes
it much better at not mis-firing.

Speaking of firing, this thing FIRES out of the handle!
The coil spring must be monstrous. I've purchased many springs in
various diameters both wire and hole and only a handful have achieved such speed.
I've opened it maybe 400 times so far, mostly during the race
yesterday.
No sign of speed loss or weakening as of yet.

At only $175 MSRP, it's a great deal for any military or LEO as well
as you guys that can carry legally.

Tim and Zero Tolerance have a real winner here.

houtex,

If you're in Houston, there is only 1 dealer that Zero Tolerance lists on there website.

BECKWITH'S BLADES
10801 HAMMERLY BLVD., STE. 206
HOUSTON, TX 77043

There is one in the Dallas area somewhere, but don't know the name.

There are a few online places to find the Zero Tolerance line as well.
Just Google what you're looking for.

Got my 0610ST today and I'm as impressed with it as all my other ZT's. It feels good in the hand, fires hard and locks up nicely, no blade play....... I like the safety button and although not a big Tanto fan, I like this one, also like that the serrated portion is not so long (about 1" of the 3.5" blade). Another fine Kershaw/ZT to add to the herd.
