Zero Tolerance 560 Frame Lock Problems

I just received my new Zero Tolerance 560 today. After a short test drive, I noticed the lockup seemed a bit odd. It appears that the frame lock wants to grind against the tang, when you put a firm grip on the knife. The frame lock wants to travel inward on the tang and then it gets stuck. It literally grinds to a halt. Has anyone else noticed this??? It seems like the milling is of just enough to make this a problem. Overall I like the knife, however, this appears to be a big flaw. I know it's not a Hinderer, however I expected much more. Thanks in advance for your feedback.

A brand new framel ock will take some time to break in. For a sticky lock use draw some pencil lead on the blade tang.

Thanks snowreaper I will give it a try. I hope to not offend neverdie, however I will let you know how this works out. Thanks again.

Actually they say pencil lead because that's exactly what ZT/Kershaw does. That's how they (ZT) solved my lock issue with my 551 I just rec'd back last week. Its now better than new...

The pencil trick worked great. The lockup is now smooth. Thanks again for the helpful tips!!

I've had to use led on all my frame locks including my 560 (which ive recently sold) It works wonders.

Pencil lead is graphite, and graphite is used as a lubricant when metal surfaces contact each other. Sounds like that's your solution.
