I live 30 minutes south of Salt Lake City, Utah.

There isn't a Zero Tolerance dealer in Utah, according to the dealer locator on the website, and the closest place I can go to get my hands on one is a 5-6 hour drive to Las Vegas.

I know the "Zero Tolerance" brand is pretty new, and still building it's dealer base, etc.

I was wondering, though, how well this is going, and when (or if) I might expect to be able to go somewhere and check these out before buying one.

I particularly like the 0400, but have a hard time spending $150 without playing with it first to get a feel for the speed assist, the grippiness of the scales, etc.

I appreciate your patience and understanding, I really do. We are establishing more and more ZT dealers seemingly weekly, and hopefully there will be one in your area soon.

mchlwise - You could check the passaround forum to see if anyone's running one for any ZT models. If you could get in on one all it'd cost is whatever you pay to ship it on the next person.

mchlwise, you checked out The Cutlery Corner? They have a store in Murry or Sandy (can't rememner which) and one here in South Orem. I think I saw some ZT knives there last time I was in there. - Hope it's okay to mention this here.

Another vote for worriors & Wonders, great owner Jay will do as much as possible to help, great guy to deal with. He's quickly becoming a major knife store for canadians.

I'll try to get over there tonight! Thanks for the tip.

I checked out the Cutlery Corner, and no ZT. :grumpy:

They did have a nice selection, though, and I was able to get my paws on some nifty stuff... Junkyard dogs and such.

I'll keep checking back with them.
