I'm torn between a zt0200 and a zt350.... Out of concern of blade and handle size could somebody confirm if the 350 is something like a spyderco tenacious in size and length? And would the. 200 be comparable to the cold steel recon 1 ? I need help ASAP I'm withdrawing from knife buying and need a fix!

I don't have a 0200, but here's a ZT0350 and Spyderco Tenacious for comparison.

Thank you very much flarp.... The zt almost looks a little bigger would you say? If not same size this helps alot ... I can't find a zt dealer in NY so this helps

I have the ZT 0200 and it is big. I'd say it makes my Recon 1 feel smaller in comparison

The Tenacious has a very slightly longer cutting edge. Both knives have the same blade length and overall opened length. The 0350 has a wider and thicker handle, and it definitely feels like a heftier knife. If you're looking for a last knife before withdrawing from knife buying, the ZT0350 would be a great note to end on. However, after handling it, you may find yourself back for more. ;)

I'm assuming the recon's tri-add lock is stronger than the ZT's liner lock, but overall with everything else the ZT0200 wins
Also the ZT uses 154cm the recon uses Aus8a.
The recon is way easier to sharpen, but won't hold it's edge as long

With the ZT0200 and ZT0350
The ZT0200 is larger, has a longer blade and to me feels tougher than the 0350
The ZT0350 has a better blade Steel (S30v) and will hold it's edge better.

It also depends on preference. If you have large hands you may find the ZT0350 a tad small
Personally imo being smaller, I feel the ZT0350 is better for EDC. However the ZT0200 is a very capable work knife.
With me people always got edgy when I used it (0200) at work (I'm guessing due to it looking a bit aggressive) so I chose a smaller knife for edc.

It's entirely your call. I chose what's best for me, you need to choose what's best for you

The Tenacious has a cheaper steel than the ZT 0350 but they're the same size.
The ZT looks and feels bigger.
The Tenacious has a larger cutting edge.
The ZT could probably handle more than the Tenacious, but it should with the increase in price and since it's made for heavy use.
The ZT feels good in the hand even if you have large hands though the handle can seem a little short.
The Liner lock is thick and strong.
Slices like crazy so it can handle the tough and lighter jobs.

ZT 0200:
It is very similar in size to the Recon 1.
Even though the Recon 1 is a beefy blade the ZT is much beefier and hefty.
The Recon 1 has a slightly longer blade and closed length so it's longer.
The steel is much better and the blade is thicker than on the Recon 1.

ZT 0350 vs. ZT 0200:
ZT 0200 - Much larger and beefier
ZT 0350 - While smaller, still a tank.

ZT 0200 - 154CM steel, a good steel.
ZT 0350 - s30v steel, very nice steel and slightly better than 154CM when it comes to certain things.

ZT 0200 - Thicker and you feel it more in the pocket.
ZT 0350 - A tank with a thick lock and blade but still rides in the pocket easier than the 0200.

ZT 0200 - Large blade with a lot of edge.
ZT 0350 - Still a good sized blade with enough edge for most EDC and work tasks.

ZT 0200 - Non-assisted flipper - while the blade is large and the heft helps deploy the blade well, it can be a sometimes slow movement because of said heft.
ZT 0350 - Assisted opening - quick even though it's a hefty little blade. You can even remove the torsion bar and it makes a great manual flipper.

ZT 0200 - A large beefy handle with awesome machined G-10 for an excellent grip that fits the hand very well.
ZT 0350 - Feels good in the hand, not too thick or wide, though the handle could be a little longer for XL hands.

Really it just depends on what works for you best.

great info guys I really appreciate it I'm worried that the handle maybe too small on the 350 but if it's the same size as the tenacious it should be fine I wish the 200 was a quarter inch smaller in blade length does anybody have a comparison pic of the cold steel recon 1 to the ZT 200 ? and by withdrawal ring I meant I'm itching to buy another knife I know I will be buying knives up until the day I die ....thank you guys very much for all your help

I have both the 200 and 350. The 350 is lighter and much easier to carry as an edc knife. The 200 is built like a tank!

I Think you should get a ZT0550..Has the best of both worlds and is one of best knifes for the $$$ I have 3 of them!.You can get the Original Style Clip one for a great price from many places..

lmao sounds like advice from a father... my only concern was my states (New York) max blade length of 4".... I know the blade on the 200 is just under 4" but a shitty cop having a shitty day, you just never know..... but I think I want the 200 anyway, and now I almost regret getting my 2nd paramilitary 2 yesterday instead of pullling the trigger on a Military due to blade size.... thanks for all your help you knife "connoisseurs"

one thing you must be careful of with ZT's in NYC is tighten the pivot
ZT's are all "flickable" so to speak.

I live on long island but ill be careful on my next trip into the city... I'm so messed up over picking these knives that I think that I might just pick the happy medium in blade length and get a 300... Would you guys recommend that? And is it easy to take out the assisted opening ?

It is very easy to remove the assist on a 0300, but you will also lose the detent. Without the torsion bar to hold it closed you will have to have an extremely tight pivot or live with a free swinging blade. You could also drill a detent hole into the blade yourself, as seen on the 0350, which makes a great manual flipper.

nice I Grew up on Long Island in Ronkonkoma.. If you want an unassisted big ZT look at the 0550 or 0560

Lol Chester I'm at lake ronkonkoma as we speak ! I live off ronkonkoma ave .... The 550 looks nice actually and 3.5 is my ideal folding size... Geez this is a problem... Chesters guns and knives up the block doesn't carry any ZTs and I really just need to hold them all
