zero tolerance - limited production ?

I was talking to a knife dealer about a zt0302 and he told me the the zt line was a limited production of just a thousand pieces. He was saying if i did not buy now I might never get one.
Is this true?
 
While not speaking for Kershaw, the ZT line will continue. Perhaps he was talking about a sprint run for TAD Gear?

As of yesterday, the pharmacy had them in stock...
 
He might have just been trying to sell one. I don't know if there is a set number
produced. But, if the guy just made it up, I would be careful what he told me in the future.

*i'm not speaking for kershaw either, but I feel pretty confident
 
I checked kershaws/ZT web site and could not find anything about the ZT line being limited in production.

I think the guy who told me it was limited was wrong.
 
I'd like to know who it was, too. I just got ripped on the evilbay, and every bit of info like this is good to know.
