How well does the Zero Tolerence Battle Mistress perform as a user knife? How does its thickness affect the capabilities of this knife? Any info appreciated.

I'm sure someone will pipe in here in the next 24-48 hours.

I've no experience with them. Yet... ;)

i have a zero tolerance natural outlaw, and it seems to me that these are best suited for cutting, not so much chopping as the others. now that isnt to say that they arent great choppers, because they are better than the average knife, but compared to the other regular stock INFI, i would have to say that they are better as cutters

I love the ZT series. The only issue I have with them is that the thinness results in the handles being a little too narrow for my hands. Of course, some people talk about the E-series handles being too large, so this might be a happy condition for some.

To me, the ZT series is at it's best in the NO, then the SH.

I have all the ZT's, and I use them. The ZT Battle Mistress is lighter than the combat grade version, but because the grind is a high saber grind on the ZT it remains very tough and it actually chops as well as the heavier knife, maybe better because the saber grind does not tend to stick as much as the full flat grind combat grade blades - on deep cuts and chops that is. Also, the zero edge grind (which is convex as far as I can tell) is much preferred by me over the old asymetrical grind on the combat grade e-series. Put it this way, the knife in my survival pack, which I always take with me when I fly around the Alaska bush, is a Steelheart ZT.
