Zippo Blu -- anybody have one?

I saw them online and thought the shape they went with was a bit odd. I like that they retained the zippo "click" and the flint strike wheel, but rumor has it you cannot adjust the flame (I may be wrong).

Also there is a promo on till the end of this month where you can get one free if you complete a survey.

I have seen them but I am thinking of getting the butane insert that fits into the standard lighter. Some survival supply company sells them on the net.

Where do I find this survey?
Thanks,

got 1 in the mail the other day(freebie from marlboro).

haven't even fueled it,yet.

it's quite larger than a regular sized zippo.

I threw it in the junk drawer.

Yeh, just spent 30 minutes of my life I'll never get back signing up, only to be told that if I did not get a mailed invite, I can't come into the party, in other words, no free lighter.

Oh well....

I didnt do it. I am just not comfy anymore with giving out too much info over the web. I do know these folks or folks just like them sell this info. How do I know? Cuz I get info from them, thats how. a butane lighter for me just isnt worth the risk anymore, I'm not paranoid, just playing it safe. I'd rather spend the few bucks(which I wont) if I wanted one. I love my zippos but most of the time they reside in a drawer all the while I try to remember where I put the fluid.....or,I'm just too damn lazy to refill them and when I need a light they are dry.

Same here. Since I quit smoking, I've never had a need to carry my Zippo around with me, and the few times I did need it to light something up, it was dry. I find myself reaching for my Colibri more often anyway.

I still love my Zippo though, has a nice engraving, and I had some great memories with it.

I bought two of these a couple of years ago and they work well.

I have both the Blu and the butane insert. Neither works worth a s**t at altitude. The insert that comes with the Blu says it's not recommended for use above 5,280 feet. I'm at 5,400 (Denver) and they're not kidding.

For you flatlanders, if youi like torch lighters and like the looks of it, I'd say "go for it."

Hey guys, I hate to dredge up a three month old thread, but has anyone put this through the paces yet? I don't smoke anymore, but I do like all my old Zippos and I wouldn't mind buying from a company like Zippo just to support them(and get a new toy). At $60 however, if it's no good I may take a pass.

I really like this one:

Thanks for your time.
