Been thinking about going to the factory/ museum in Bradford. But before I go out there, is it worth it? Steep prices, or at MSRP? Good selection of knives? Worth driving from Long Island?
Answers from people that have been there, preferably

I've been there 3 times now.
Great museum, a casual walkthrough for us was about an hour.
The store was also great. Nice selection of Zippo, Case knives, and other stuff (t-shirts, stickers etc).
If I remember correctly, their prices were slightly below MSRP but they have a clearance case that has a lot of nice deals. They also stock most of their product line.
If you're going out there, not too far from Case is the Kabar/Cutco museum and store.

Just call ahead and make sure they are not going to a show somewhere at the time you will be visiting.
This happened to us. Still had a good time and plan to go back.

Great Eastern Cutlery, in Titusville,PA, is also not very far Bradford. They will give you a tour of their Factory any weekday if you get there before 2 pm. Queen Cutlery is also in Titusville, but I'm not sure of their Factory Tour Schedule. You can make quite a "Knifing Tour" out of the trip!
There are also two very nice motels in Titusville, and restaraunts, etc.

Definitely worth it if you are interested in the process at all!
I would definitely call ahead though. MY favorite parts were the walls covered with the factory collection displays!

I loved it, but it cost me a lot of money :D

As others said, prices are a little better than MSRP, and there is a clearance section plus lots of other goodies. I was last there when I was actively acquiring Zippo lighters and found quite a few that were available nowhere else including that great online auction place...which is why it cost me a lot.

I've wanted to get out there for the weekend Swap Meet and National Zippo Day, but hotels are impossible to get, they're booked a year ahead. People from all over the world show up in Bradford for that weekend in July.
