Im planning on clipping one of these on the sun visor in my truck, which do you think would be better in regards to ease of accessibility AND retension? thanks

You should probably buy both. It totally depends on road conditions, weather, and tire wear. More testing will be necessary.

Or don't play with fire while driving.
