Zippo problems

[Diamond Cut II]

I bought my Zippo yesterday(black ice) and it worked fine. Today I pulled up the wick, trimmed it, and put more lighter fluid in it. Now when I "zip" it, the flame always diminishes. Any suggestions? Thank you for your time.

i dunno, how much of the wick did you pull up and trim? im thinking that is the problem, put in a new wick and see if that helps.

P.S. i have the same lighter, Zippo Black Ice
