Not, no funny lighter tricks, just wondering how to get the most lights out of one.
Even if it seems like there's no fuel left, sometimes trying to light it a few times will get it going. I assume this is because the wick is warmer after the first few tries. (Or maybe it's random.)
Sometimes it seems to work better with some extra pressure. Sometimes a slower motion seems to work better.
Does anyone know the real answer?

I think I remember the Zippo instruction sheet telling you to jerk the lighter downward once or twice before flicking. Maybe it ensures an adequate oxygen supply at the region of the wick, by clearing out the lighter fluid fumes.

I am not sure about the real answer, I never read the thing on the instruction sheet, but I have found that jerking the lighter down will help. Thought it might be to do with getting any fluid that was not touching the wick to make contact?

But the real reason for my post is this Zippo Tricks that site is heaps of fun, goes to show what happens if you have to much time on your hands

edited cause I ain't good at speling (;) )
