i found this on several japanese websites, and i really want one. does anyone know of where i can get one here in the states? are they planning on releasing it here at a later date? also, has any one seen the new custom/limited "armor/heavy wall" zippos? there seem to be a ton of fancy zippos with thicker casing and fancy inlays in japan, but cant figure out how to get one. this one is 10,500 yen (?) is that a whole lot of money?

why arent there any of these in america? ive searched and searched but only found the basic heavy wall plain models. thanks!
 
keeping my eye on this thread also .. I likes that lighter ,,, reminds me of an archtop F hole body guitar

UPDATE: BAD NEWS

I called the zippo 1800 number to ask about these and i was told that they are only available in japan, and that they could not help me get one here in the states.
I got in touch with a friend that actually knows japanese, and he informed me that not only does that site not ship to the states, but they only accept japanese bank account transfers as payment. he did tell me however, when he goes back to japan this winter, that hed try to help me get one, if any are still available. (there were quite a few that i wouldnt mind having from that site)
i wonder if there are any custom makers that make lighter cases that a zippo insert would fit in...
maybe one will pop up on ebay one day, and if so, i call shotgun on the first one..
