Zirconium scratch?...

I have a very tiny scratch in a zirconium bolster (see pict.).
Has anyone sanded zirconium, or know of a different way to remove the tiny scratch?

Heat it with a blowtorch. It adds a layer of oxide that darkened the zirconium.
