G'day,
First time trying some Zladinox, the Russian stainless damascus, with some local black bamboo.

I am Loving that bamboo. It looks like a very comfortable handle.

I love it. I noticed that zladinox stainless damascus does not take a deep/high contrast etch although this is based on the Shirogorov and Cherbukov folders coming out of Russia. Is that your experience as well?

It's much harder to etch than Damasteel and takes at least 1/2 hour to get a decent finish, but by using ferric chloride instead of hydrochloric acid the contrast is better.

I'm loving these black bamboo handles. Are you collecting them from your property or are you growing them?
