love that steel!

Very nice. The "cross cut" wood gives it a different touch.

Kind regards,

Jos

Very nice, sir! so how did you get that pattern? Did you accordion cut a bar of explosion pattern?

Thanks for the kind words everyone.. I did the 45 cut of the bar and then drew it out a bit after i "w"d it. Mike Quesenberry gave me some real helpful hints on that technique.. thank you Mike.. Again thanks for the comments, i appreciate them very much. It will be going to the Mi-Atlantic hammer-in next week in Ohio if anyone is going to be there..

i forgot to mention, the burl shows up on the top and bottom of the handle. I cut it that way because i didnt want to distract from the damascus pattern with too figured of wood, so it shows on the top and bottom and straight on the sides.

Great looking pattern in the damascus and a fine looking knife.

thanks a lot guys.. anyone going to Louisville guild show in sept. ?

I will be going to the Guild Show, hopefully I can have a look at this knife if it is going to make the trip.

Take care

Charles

thank you.. please stop by and say hi.. the knife will make the trip unless it finds a home before then :D
