Well, it has been a long road but I finally am near done with this one. An old soccer friend of mine is getting this one for one of his friends.
Specs-
Steel- 52100, .200 thick differentially heat treated by Peter's heat treat. Rc 60 at the edge. Guncoated flat black by me.
Handles- Red/black G10 with blasted allen head stainless screws. I used round standoffs inside the handle and bolt if from both sides. This way I can redo the guncoat as necessary.
Blade length is 13" with overall length of 18" . At the tallest, the blade from edge to spine is just over 2". There are a couple of thumb grooves just ahead of the handles for extra grip.
This thing is ready for zombies...... or whatever else gets in the way.
Here is the black one with a 20" waiting for the handle bolts to get here.
