This set is a custom order for a fellow who's a big fan of the Resident Evil video games. We designed them based on the knives from the game. They were challenging and fun to build, in a pull-your-hair-out kind of way... :D Thanks for looking!

Thanks! Wicked is definitely what the client and I were going for :D Of course a lot of the credit goes back to Jimmy Lile, who designed/built the original Rambo knives and obviously inspired these as well.

Thank you guys. Remember, questions and critiques are always welcome. ;)

I thought Hibben built the Rambo knives.

Jimmy Lile built the iconic knives for the first two "Rambo" films, upon which these knives are based (minus the hollow handles). Gil Hibben built the knives for the 3rd and 4th "Rambo" movies. Lile and Hibben are truly among the founding fathers of the modern custom/handmade knife movement, and both men have my undying gratitude and respect for their immeasurable contributions.

I invite you to research both makers further; more detailed analysis is beyond the scope of this thread.

Jimmy Lile did the rambo knife! james those pieces are very nice, ive yet to journey into big knives but those two are an inspiration!!! GHaile

Mr. Haile, jump in with both feet on a big knife with design features you've never done before. You will learn a heckuva lot if you take some time to think it through and pay attention to your mistakes along the way. I sure did! :) It's harder than it looks but it's worth the journey.
