zombie slayer and hunter ?

the wife was gone all weekend so worked on two knives just a start these both are 1/4 thick the zombie slayer thats what i call it ,its the first pic. it's blade is 5 1/4" in the curve but only 4 1/4" long hope you understand that .the overall is 9 3/4 i still need to do the file work its raining today so might do that today , trying to think of a good handle for it . the other is also 1/4 thick it has a 4 1/4 blade with a 2 1/4 false edge on top its overall is 9 7/8" also needs file work ,don't know if it will get red white blue micartia or wood or bone or?I know there not finished but wanted to show them their both 5160 ,what do we think the handles should be ?

I like the second one, but it seems a bit small for Zombie work. I don't like to get anywhere near that close!
 
I'm with joe-bob. I'm mad scared of zombies.

I would first choose my Springfield Armory Socom II for the zombies, then maybe a shotgun, if it came to hand-to-hand combat with the zombies I'd probably want something like a machette or a sword.

Besides that, the knives look great man, I think it's awesome when you guys are making your own knives.

personally, micarta or G-10 are my favorite handle materials.
