Zombie slayer

YUNA MAKES SOME OF THE BEST KNIVES IN THE WORLD.....He makes the most beautiful folders Iv'e ever seen...This knife is D2 steel and a Yuna knife is almost nuclear proof. In my opinion this would be a deal at double the price....Go on his web site and you will be amazed.

I have one. It is by far the sharpest piece of steel that I have ever held. Its like a razor blade with a very nice handle.

I remember when he made that knife and posted it here on BF , it got a ton of responses if I recall correctly.

That is one hell of a knife !

I agree to a point with T Bag , I'll say he make some of the nicest folders I've seen , IMO.
This Zombie Slayer is no different.

It looks nice, but it doesn't interest me for a few reasons:
1) It's flat ground. I'm just not a fan.
2) It looks a little too pointy. I'd be concerned about a breaking the tip on a knife that size.
3) The shape just doesn't do it for me. It looks good, but doesn't seem very practical for using, especially because of the tip.
.
These are only my opinions. Don't get me wrong, I've bought some very impractical knives in the past just because they look cool!
I'm sure this one is very well made. Good Luck on whatever you decide.

And don't forget the steel. D2, modified or not, isn't the best choice for a 10" blade. I wouldn't want D2 on a knife that's intended as a chopper and fighter, where heavy impacts with hard wood and even metal (other knives) can be expected.

Oh I know it seems quite impractical, but it just fits into a category of its own. I have come to a point that each knife that I purchase really needs to represent the best in a specific category. I don't have anything at all thats big and pointy:D and this seems to be in my mind one of the best looking custom fixed blade ever. If zombies attack i shall be prepared.

It is definitely an eye catching knife but that tip looks like it's just begging to be snapped off.

Dought that the tip would last through one tree out here bud. Go with your gut though. If you like it, get it. You only go round once.

Guys, aren't zombies notoriously soft? Almost squishy, kinda?

No way you're gonna break that thing off in a zombie. Biggest danger would be that it would zip through too fast and smack something on the other side of the zombie.

Just my opinion, of course...

i really like the yuna folders, i am sure that the fixed is good too if ya like that design and understand any limitations it has ie the tip is probably a little fragile.

i am gonna get a yuna folder asap.

i like the zen and the assasin, hard one is cool too.........
