I just saw this from Kabar... one of the latest in their line of zombie knives:

It has a 12.5-in blade, is 1-1/2 feet long, and is made from 1/4-in thick 1095. A true monster!

Maybe not the most practical knife, but as far as zombie killing goes, bigger is better... :D

It's kind of sad that ka-bar has descended to this

Ehh, ignore the marketing gimmick, replace the green scales with the black ones(or customs if you really wanted), and you basically have a parang machete with a sharper point.

It most resembles a French "badelaire" sword. It's not for me but I wish them luck with it.

Agreed, it wouldn't be that bad with a bit of grinding.

I wouldn't buy one in the current state because it's rather expensive for something which would be (to me) a silly toy... if I want a silly toy I usually try to find things that are somewhat historical.

Still, a chunk of steel that big almost always appeals to me at least slightly. :D

Yeah, that's my problem with it. As expensive as this is, with the same money I could buy say, a Condor Tapanga AND Pack Golok, or maybe an Engineer Bolo and Parang, or perhaps a couple of Aranyiks, or 3-4 special grade Imacasas...get at least TWO big chunks of steel, instead of just one. If they lower it's price to that of their previous "zombie" blades, then maybe I'd consider it, but as it stands, there's no way I'd get this over a pair of high quality Condors.

But condors knives aren't specifically designed for zombie defense.

The way I see it is I don't mind a good company throwing on some neon green scales and jacking up the price to make a nice profit, it all goes to support a good american company.

Atleast the zombie nuts can go play around with these without having to worry about the blade snapping and hurting themselves like with gerbers zombie out.

Long lost cousin? anyway it's a good chopper to say the very least and Pak Mohd will agree too.

That would be quite appealing with a satin finish, no top guard and a nice fancy set of wood slabs.YMMV

I noticed that unlike the previous ZKs it's made in the USA. Not my style in the least bit, though I do want a pestilence chopper, for brush.

I like it. Put a ring on the end of the hilt and you'd have a compact "tactical zombie" dadao (one of my favorite types of Chinese swords).

Everyone mocks, until the walkers are at the door..............

So, we never get to stop mocking? :p

Although it's fun to joke around about, I don't think there will be many more prepared than knife nuts. You never need to reload a blade, after all. :D

All of you will regret making fun of the zombie killer knives when the zombie apocalypse is upon us! YOU'LL BE SORRY!

chinese zombies are anti-knives.
some of them can even fly
those on the top level can cause drought by cantrip

knives made of steel can do nothing to them

but a sword made of peach wood may work since chinese zombies are afraid of peach wood.

fortunately I have got one in my house to avoid the zombie intruders :

the the Eight Diagrams logo(Taoism)and the jade Buddha(Buddhism) both enhance the exorcism power.

I have not met any zombie for over 15 years since cremation is the only way to deal with the new dead bodies during the recent decades in china.

I dunno, I'm pretty sure my Condor Village Parang, or Swamp Master, or my Aranyik Thai Saber machete or...well, any of the 2 dozen other machetes I have around here will be able to get the job done fine, lol.
