Hi everyone

Thinking of purchasing a Zombie Tool but don't like the leather or aluminum handles and want to make my own G10 ones.

I'm wondering if anyone has made their own handles for a Zombie Tool or taken off the leather wrap and knows how the aluminum scales are attached. They might just be epoxied or they could be screwed or riveted..Just wondering what tools i'll need for the job.

Thanks in advance!

Their website annoyed me.

Difficult to see how the handle slabs are affixed, but I doubt replacing them would pose any real issue since they're all full tang.

Seems an expensive novelty, but the Reaver Cleaver makes me happy.

Since you don't like the handles though, I'd get with a custom maker here on the forum and have something made to your specifications. Zombie Tools just uses 5160, so you could probably have the equivalent made to your liking, support a forum maker AND save money in the process.

Thanks for the input T.L.E Sharp

Definitely not a bad idea going with a Custom maker but to be honest, I don't know any that would do this kinda work. If you have any suggestions by all means, please share them!

I'm tossing up between the Reaver Cleaver and the Deuce II. Could definitely borrow there designs and change a couple things for a custom build.
