I know that many here are really into Zombies.

There are 3 1 OZ. .999 Fine Silver ZOMBUCKS out now. Currency For The Apocalypse. They are pretty doggone neat and Silver prices are pretty low these days.

I did not really buy them for an investment but, Silver and Gold will never be worth nothing whereas paper could be worth just paper some future day. I certainly hope not but, historically it has happened before in other countries.

Anyway there is MORGUE ANNE (a copy of the Morgan Silver Dollar) and the latest one is the ZOMBUFF which features an undead Buffalo on the face.

Anyway I am not sure if I am allowed to post this link or not. I am not this seller or in any way related to this seller & am only posting the link because I bought from them 3 times and always got my purchase - well packed and decently quick. So...honest seller. I just used the Buy It Now feature. & Free Shipping.

I figure that if the Daily Spot Price of Silver is $20.00+ right now and I spend $27 or $29 I am really only spending the amount over the daily spot.

I'm sticking with INFI and hot lead as my post apocalyptic metals but those do look pretty cool.
 
Very cool idea, silver is not a terrible investment since it is fairly low now, but I'm with voracious. My funds are going into hot lead and INFI for the time being. I might snag a couple of these zombie coins though, like the look of them.

The back of that Zombuck is awesome! I might have to check them out just for the print on the back of the coin :eek:
 
I also have been "investing" in Lead.
A very wise move folks.
And so are many many others if you have been out shopping for ammo recently & for quite some time now.
Many of the more popular calibers are incredibly scarce.

I also intend to buy another TGLB to "safe queen" for my nephew. It is a knife that I would really like him to have but, he still needs to get a bit older yet.

Lora ~ Yes, I really like the reverse side of the Zombucks also. All of them share the same style flip side.
 
Wow that is awesome! It's great to know that if the breakout ever DOES occur, we will still have some sort of currency LOL
 
I really liked the walker design so I picked up a few. I missed the bus on the $23 price though, and paid closer to $26 per. They're selling for $40-$50 on eBay now so I guess I did ok. I liked the morgue Anne design too, but I'm. I'm not crazy about the zombuffs, but I'm interested to see what else they come out with.
 
If they come out with any more I'll continue to buy one of each.

I think that at some future point in time a full set in pristine condition could fetch a lot more than the melt price of the metal. Just a hunch of mine.

I don't get it right all of the time but, my average is pretty decent on predicting what could be a hot future collectible - IF you sell at the exact right time.

I should add that I expect that silver prices may actually tank. But, I am looking ahead to beyond 2016 or 17.

I have a solid copper one that I got at the gun show. I also got a solid copper .45 acp round. I may put it on a neckless
