After seeing a thread here and getting a notice in a newsletter from KnifeCenter I placed this order over the weekend. Got the Zome Endura in hand today. The fit/finish was usual top notch maybe a bit above what I had with other Enduras. I got this obviously because of the handle color and how it is done. I know the "camo" thing isn't for everyone but I like it. I fell in love with my Pacific Salt SE over the summer so I knew when I saw this Zome pattern I would need do get one and throw it in the rotation. The color is really well done. You can tell it goes beyond the surface so it should wear well. You can also tell it was done all to one knife with the handle assembled because the pattern is consistent as it flows from one scale to back spacer and to the other scale. Very impressive! I thought about doing a blade swap for better performance but most of the stuff out there that is swapable is not very corrosion resistant. One of the reasons I love the Salt is because it can go anywhere at anytime. I know the VG-10 won't be as corrosion resistant but it should work great as a regular EDC. Hopefully some sprints will come out with more interesting steels. Lastly, I had a gift card from KnifeCenter's rewards program so this only set me back $22 shipped! Pics. Some it looks more dark others more light with brown:

Let me know what you all think!

I like it a lot! Just don't drop it while folded while in the woods, you'll never find it, lol.

True. I forgot to take a picture but I added a Casey Lynch (theoriginalspaceman) deep carry clip that I tightened up. It won't be going anywhere unless I drop it out of hand!

Very cool! Thanks for the pictures. If they happen to do another run in brighter colors I'll probably get one.

I'm diggin' it! Nice knife dude! Any word on if the Stretch is getting the same treatment?

I haven't heard. Maybe someone from spyderco can comment. Also would love to know about future color options or different steels!

Indeed! It definitely opens up a new door to color options! I really like that camo look though, they managed to pull it off quite nicely! I (and many others I'm sure) have often wondered in the past what camo FRN would look like. Now we know...it's badass! And different steels are always great to see too! The possibilities are endless.... Just wish my budget wasn't!! :)

If they do this isn orange/black, I'd sprain my wrist from reaching for my wallet so quickly.

So a few weeks ago I ended up buying a Spyderco Military to replace my Emerson Super Commander as my main work blade. Now, I will admit I've never been much of a Spyderco guy as most of their knives just never appealed to me for one reason or another. But, I've always wanted a Military so I finally bought one. Well...I ended up returning the Military a few days after receiving it. The tip just seemed way too thin and narrow. Great for EDC or self-defense but I was a little too leery of using it for work. Then I saw the Endura 4 with those interesting Zome handle scales. When I got the knife in the mail I gotta say I was really, really impressed. I knew the Endura has always been super popular and now I know why. I really can't find anything bad about this knife! Almost the same blade shape as the Military, tip seems a bit thicker/stronger, and I'm a big fan of VG-10 steel. And Craytab you are right, the color and pattern of these zome scales are simply stunning. A real joy to look at! Oh, and its been riding in my pocket at work ever since.

Yup!!!! The Delica and Endura are darned near perfect! Some guys (who fish in kayaks... hint hint) like to thin out the tip to a more acute point. Like you, I like a slightly beefier tip, and think that the blade shape, handle shape, weight, etc... is just fantastic.
