Zowada- Elusive Spyder

I have been collecting Spyders for quite some time now and I just scored my first Tim Zowada C-56. It was really hard to find one too. Does anyone know how many of these were ever sold because it literally took me over a year of hard looking to get one NIB? Also the one I got was a VG-10 version. I heard that most of them were of AUS-8 blade steel. It along with the Rookie were 2 of the hardest Spyders I had to run down. It is a gorgeous blade. I would like to find a used one to put in my EDC rotation.

This is off topic, but did you see the post I'd made in the Centofante C25 thread? I know you said there you were looking for C25 & C50, and I found a place offering both. I'll email you the details if you're interested.

JD,
I just checked John F Jensen and he still shows 5 of the AUS-8 CE ones available. The blade shape just never did it for me. John is a good source for discontinued spydies.

I got my PE C25 from him today (ordered Monday). I can't type any more right now because I'm too busy playing with it. Maybe some scans to post later.
