ZT 0121, how do you sharpen it?

Is there any secret to sharpening recurves or do you just need the right equipment. I've heard the Sharpmaker works well. The knife I'm looking at is the ZT0121

The recurve isn't too pronounced but it ain't cheap so I don't want to buy it if I can't sharpen it.

The Sharp Maker works well if you use the tip of the triangle to work the recurve. If you decide to step up to an Edge Pro you can order a narrow stone in the grit you intend to finish with. On the Edge Pro you use normal width stones to sharpen the front and back of the blade then do a final pass with the narrow stone so you work the recurve over pretty well.
