Seems like everywhere I have checked recently which had real, real good prices has told me backordered.
Haven't seen any prisitne, almost perfect used ones in my price range either.
My best price is 92.00 New if it ever stops being on backorder.

What's up? Is this out of production, or just popular cuz it's cheaper than some of the others in the series?

$92 is a steal. They should be going for 128$ due to MAP pricing.

I say jump on it if you can find a price at least 20$ lower than MAP.

$92 for a NIB 0200 is a great deal. Kershawguy has 5 in stock over in the Exchange, doubt he can meet that price, since his 0200ST blems are going for slightly more than that. It wouldn't hurt to check with him if you don't want to wait for a back order.

That is a great price for a NIB 0200. It will be worth the wait whichever route you decide to buy from. They are tanks with class that take on any challenge you ask them too.

92 is really cheap, but you could be waiting a while. I'd go with one of the trusted retailers unless you have patience. :P

Kershawguy has some in stock. I just ordered an 0300 from him on the 30th and hed had some 0200's in stock at that time.

I could say I have them for $59, but if it's on backorder then who cares? It's only a great price if you can get it for that.
I see prices like that quite a bit when using Google, some place will have "a to good to be true price" then you see they really don't have any.

Ya'll should pay attention to the sale threads here too. One just sold today here for $120 shipped. ;)

If kershawguy has any, that would be the place to get them. Dave is a top notch guy to deal with...

120 shipped is only 7 bucks more and some change over the best price I've found. TKC has them for 127.something shipped. Not saying the guy that sold the blade had bad reputation, nor do I know which auction you speak of, but for about 8 bucks more, I'd rather have the piece of mind that the blade is in fact new in box.

Back to your first point, I agree entirely. A nice price is no good if there is no stock to sell at that price. I think between the replies here, the OP has several options in front of him now unless he wants to play that waiting game and hope the price is still 92 WHEN/IF the knife ever gets back in stock at the dealer he mentioned.

It was me. :o
Lots of good deals to be had here on the Exchange.

Did not know. I've been around long enough to know you're more than reputable.

Could've been someone else though that doesn't post much for example. You get my point, though.

Then again, 127 to 128 is MAP (20% off MSRP of 160). Generally dealers aren't allowed to advertise them lower than MAP.

Just got one this past Friday. Prior to that I had been looking at the three places I do most of knife buying. All I could find was the ZT0200ST, and I really didn't want serrations, although the short serrations take little from the blade. I finally located what I really wanted, and that was the exclusive satin bladed version from Roger at knifeworks.com.

It turned out to be the last one in stock. According to Ashley, this knife is discontinued, although it shows as "temporarly out of stock". Mine is serial number 139.

It is really hard to beat the ZT0200 for utility and price!
