ZT 0200 Series...which one should I buy?

I need a general purpose all around good knife for EDC. I've searched around on the forum and I see that the ZT 0200 series is a good choice for this. I would like to get some advice on whether to get a plain edge or partially serrated though. I would assume that a plain edge would be easier to sharpen, but maybe the PS would be better for all around use. Please let me know your thoughts :)

Thanks
Stephen

P.S. This forum rocks!

man im not going to rip you over the coals or anything but when asking for advice on an edge option or anything knife related we need to know what you will be using the knife for. If you will be cutting tough materials and need the extra assistance of some serrations then youve allready answered your question. I personally love kershaws serrations. they dont tear through stuff like shark teeth serrations like alot of others use and kershaw still uses on some of there knives. they cut clean and give just enough bite to get the job done without making a mess out of whatever your cutting. As far as sharpening, keep backup knives and have kershaw take care your serrations. ive learned the hardway that in my opinion no one can sharpen a kershaw like kershaw. i say buy them both, come on you know you want to.lol

HAHAHA....wish I could....and yes I might eventually but only can afford one right now. I just moved and funds are tight. I think I'll grab the PS one for now. Thanks for the input.

I've got a call into the pharmacy regarding a ZT300-TAD...hope they can come thru! Paddling_man's pic on the JYD II thread got me thinking about that "big o' massive folder".

for a true EDC, I generally avoid serrated. I just don't want to worry about it, when I'm using it constantly

So why not just get a JYD II? I have one, and it's an excellent folder! that is well-worth the "asking price"...

I'm just not ready for the JYD II. There are others I want first DAM it. I really want a ZT hog, and I've seen my share of OD green and brown. The TAD is all black...stealthy little clip...yeah, right - at over 5 inches closed...just don't whip it out in public! HA! I really don't like the clip on the JYD II, but it does fit the overall look of the knife when it is out of a pocket. And I don't really want to go grinding on the clip.
