If you were to carry this knife on the left would you do tip up or tip down in pocket? Please explain why. I do tip up with my other folders. I’m just wondering how many people cut there fingers on the tip by accident.

On big folder like that, I usually carry tip down in either pocket.

Mine is set up to carry left side tip down. Carried it like that for years.........

I dont like tip up, but I never cut my fingers in that configuration

When I had one, I carried it tip up and don't remember having any issues touching the tip of the blade or having it come open in the pocket. On the other hand, tip down can be nice for larger knives since you don't have to reposition your hand as much to reach the opening mechanisms after removing from the pocket.

I seen in some videos that gap is big enough to maybe fit your finger in there and graze the tip by accident. I dont have the knife in my possession but I will soon.

I don't think you'll have any problem either tip up or down. Even when I push my finger hard into the tip up position, I don't make contact with the blade.

But congratulations on the ZT 0200. What a beast. I love it when people carry 8 oz folders. Both my Rukus and ZT 0200 are 8 oz. The Rukus has the length, but the 0200 is crazy tough.

I could see there being a slight chance, under certain circumstances like carrying tip up on the right with the clip set up for left hand carry (or vice versa), a finger tip contacting thee tip of the blade. But when I carry tip up right hand, right hand set up, my index finger would slide down the spine away from the blade IF I were for some reason even do that. Only my thumb goes into my pocket when extracting.
