Does anyone EDC this one.
Since there are so many choices in a sturdy large folder but with considerable less weight, does the 0200 make sense for EDC ?
-thanks

It all depends. For me it's worth it. I work outside and use my blades hard. Is it heavy? Honestly to me it's not. It carries well and the ergos are outstanding. It's an excellent tool and if you don't mind some extra weight will handle anything you throw at it.

i didnt have a problem with the weight of it, more the fact that its pretty wide(like the liners and scales make it thick) and also i hated the pocket clip...it rips up your pockets...so i EDCed it for a few days and then i sold it...i loved the design, but it was not great to carry...at least for me

It is my night and weekend EDC and has been since I bought it a few months ago.

I own a lot of the popular models discussed here - BM, Spyderco, Buck, Strider, CRK etc. The 0200 is the one I choose to carry right now.

I have always had great luck with 154CM. The fit and finish on this knife is superb. The G10 is some of the "grippiest" I've ever seen.

The liner lock is thick, and the knife locks open solid every time.

The weight does not bother me, as I regularly carry 6-8 ounce knives.

When you hold the 0200 in your hand you feel as if there is nothing you can't do with it.

I'm about as picky as they come, and I do not hand out compliments often - so hopefully that tells you something.

If you are into lightweight, thin and "gentlemanly" folders THIS IS NOT THE KNIFE FOR YOU!!!

If you like tactical, big, heavy, hard use, scare sheeple knives then you need one.:D

I have had my 0200 for about a week now and have EDCed everyday since then, in both jeans and shorts. It is a beast of a knife but I haven't really noticed the weight. Of course, if you carry a firearm on or off duty, you are used to the extra wieght hanging off one side ;)

I just got one too and like most Kershaw products, you get a lot of knife for the money.

I like larger folders so the size doesn't bother me, and as Toyz already said the fit and finish is fantastic. I can't think of any knife in this price range as overbuilt as the 0200 ( but then again my memory isn't that good:)).

I carry my Z200 this way.
The sheath is made by Martin Sheaths.
