Just wondering if anyone has info that I don't... I have an original, stonewashed blade 0200KW. Been kinda confused by all the advertising lately for this "new stonewashed 0200SW" when I've had one in the drawer for a year now.

So does anyone know what's the actual difference?

When I recently asked KW, they told me their exclusive 0200kw has been discontinued. Looks like ZT is reviving it as a regular production knife.

There may have been two versions of the 0200KW: one with beadblasted (BB) blade and another with stonewashed (SW) blade.

I know the ZT 0350KW came in two versions: one with BB blade and another with SW blade.

There was/is some controversy regarding beadblasting adding to corrosive pitting on blades.

I'm guessing it will take a while, but I'll be waiting to see the two side by side. Curious if the finish is different or if it really is the same but with a different model #

If I am remembering correctly. The original 0200KW was bead blasted, and the KW was indeed for Knifeworks. After a while people started mentioning that they were getting stonewashed finish rather than bead blast. This was about 4 years back so the details may or may not be accurate.

Mine is a stonewashed 0200KW that was purchased one year ago from KershawGuy.

Coincidentally, it it's action is abnormally smooth; it's definitely one if those with a "better than bearings" feel.
