I recently bought a Zero Tolerance 0300 (TAD version), and am trying to understand the manufacturer's statement that the blade is 4-1/4 inches. As I measure it, the longest it could possibly be is just 4 inches, taking the longest measurement from the handle to the tip. I'm assuming that blade length is a straight-line measurement, not a measurement around the curve of the blade. I don't really care so much; I'm just curious. It's a cool knife, by the way.

Yep that's pretty much what I got (3.8)
However if you measure from the flipper or bolt you get 4.25. Regardless, there is just under 4 inches of cutting length.
