ZT 0300 "mini"

Maybe this has been covered in another post but I can't seem to find anything in the search. Is there anything official regarding this knife floating around the internet?

Is there REALLY a small version of the ZT 0300 coming out? Does anyone know when?

My sources tell me that its currently in the feasibility phase...tooling up for such a knife is a costly adventure. Stay tuned, more to come. Same Kershaw time, same Kershaw channel.
 
AUGH. As if my knife buying decisions couldn't get any harder.

My biggest complaint about knives like the 0200, 0300 and Offset (other than the coated blades) is their hugeness....just don't need anything that big. Now I have to buy this too.
 
I think TAD Gear had a run of the 030x with a satin finish, and someone else had a run of the 0200 in satin, or perhaps it was beadblasted...

Haha, I did see TAD's uncoated blades and was very much tempted.

But as amazing as the 0300 is, I still like the Offset more. I like it when KO is more crazy than tactical.

But that said, I prefer 3 to 3.5 inch blades, which the offset clearly doesn't cater to. So I may have to pick up an uncoated mini0300 anyway.

Can someone link me to that uncoated 0200? I prefer the 02 since it's a manual.
 
AM, I'm sorry but I can't find the link. Hopefully someone else will wander in and have the info.

Yes there is a smaller 0300 coming out, as far as when...let's say late spring. Proto's will be at the SHOT Show in a few weeks.

I will say construction will be quite different from the 0300's.

So will this be a completely different knife than the 0300 ??

Kool! I for one am quite interested in this knife! Maybe someone could post some pictures from the show???

Other than the smaller size, the profile will be the same. This knife will not be a Ti frame-lock. Most likely G-10 scales with a .070/.080" liner.

Should have a flyer and some proto images soon.

No specs or pricing at this time.

Thomas, Any chance of a thinner front side liner to go along with that big 'ole lock side liner? I wouldn't mind seeing some thinner blade stock either. I'm thinking pocket friendly here. :thumbup:
