Can't really say I pulled the trigger on a knife purchase, so I guess I pulled the flipper on a ZT 0300 from BladeHQ. The sale price and YouTube raves were too powerful for me to ignore...not that I tried all that hard...

It is all over but the waiting...:(

Thanks to all here who have been so generous with their knowledge and opinions about this knife! The time and thought all gave to their posts are greatly appreciated!

Congrats! You won't be disappointed. The 0300 series has been iconic for ZT for good reason.

Good call as these awesome knives will be discontinued this year I believe. I wish I had the money I'd definitely grab one myself.

Yeah, the discontinued element kinda forced my hand. What is the reason? The ZT site claims this is their "fladship" model. One doesn't discontinue a flagship. Is the 300 not as popular/profitable as the 350 series? The BladeHQ sale price is hard to pass up. I have NO idea how to tell the wife I bought a $230 KNIFE!!! "It is cheap at the price" is not an reason she will embrace....

If you like a big hunk boat anchor of a knife, you will love it! I love mine! Post up some pics when you get it!

wow, 230 is indeed a great price. I've been eyeing the 303 for the longest time, but juz can't justify the 270 price tag. maybe a 350TS to tide me through for the time being..

Well, that is kinda why I am getting it -to experience a big boat anchor of a knife!

Mt wife got me a 3in Gerber folder which is my goin' to town knife, and a Cold Steel Code 4 for farm work. And if this is the knife for Leroy Gethro Gibbs, its gotta be the knife for me, PLUS it looks just TOO durn industrial knife-like!
