Just got my new zt 0300 and decided to try making a sheath from kydex for it today. think it turned out well, fits very flat up against my side. took allot of trial and error to get enough material removed to allow it to be pulled from the sheath easy...but not too easy. designed it to leave the clip attached to the knife so that if need be i can stuff it into a pocket. i might make a lanyard for it to dress it up some.

How about if you make one for me as a gift?...(But without the cut-out and without the pocket-clip, and for left-hand carry.):D.

yea thats kinda funny, lol.

seriously, i think without the cutout and due to all the texturing on the handles on the zt it has to have some amount of cutout or the top would have to be lower. or left with more gap between the front and back halves. the texturing really bites into the kydex. it is despite how it looks not about to fall out, no amount of shaking i tried loosened it. it has no wiggle in the sheath.

i dont think ill be making any other than personal use. just dont have that kind of time. i think i am going to do one for my Ruger SR9 and have some ideas about sheaths for other knives and things.
