Are the specs for the 0300 and 0301 the same? I've read on the net the 0301, 0302, etc. have longer blades and weigh more than the 0300. I've also read they are the same except for handle color and blade finish. What's the real skinny?

Thanks in advance.

All aspects of the knives are the same except for the color of the scales and the tigerstriping on the blades. So; you'll get the same TANK of a knife no matter what model you choose. And oh,yes, there's the serrated versions as well, but that's rather obvious.

Is it possible to swap just the scales? I missed out on the ZT0303 and wanted to make one.

it should be possible I believe kershaw made a green handled black blade for the show ncis...theres also the 0350 which is the smaller linerlock version of the 0300 series its a nice little tank of a knife

Yes, it's possible. You'll need a spanner of the right size or an adjustable wrech (for the bolt) and T-8 torx driver for the screws. If you also have the 0300 and the 0301, swap scales and..... Voilà! You've got yourself a homebuilt 0303.

NP- Willieboy :)

NCIS also used a 0302.

Thanks for the confirmation. I wish ZT would sell some scales in ACU and FDE so we can pimp our ZT030x up a bit.
