I just noticed that my 0301 has been opening its self in my pocket, I about cut my finger off yesterday.. It seems like there is nothing holding the knife in the closed position.. Anybody experience this problem with theirs? I have numerous othe ZT's and never had this happen

That is not a "Lockup Problem". It is a retention problem keeping the blade closed.
If the torsion bar is broken that will happen. If you feel no resistance when closed the knife. That is the issue. If the torsion bar does work it would hold just fine.
If you have further issues, shoot me an email and I will give you a call to help you out. I have spare parts and could talk you through any other issues.

Like has been said, not a lock up problem. Most likely a torsion bar issue. An email to KAI will get you a new one. Swap it out ( very easy ) and you should be all set. If not send it in to KAI and they will fix you up.

This, a torsion bar is an easy fix but can be kind of tricky . If you have a decent skill set with some hand tools you can just get a new torsion bar sent to you, or send it in, or try to fix it yourself and if you can't send it in anyway, personally I took out the torsion bar in my 0301 and left it out, not because I couldn't fix it , and zt sent me the parts no questions asked and very fast, either way no need to worry, zt will fix you up.

You can request a replacement torsion bar by filling out this form on the ZT website: http://zt.kaiusaltd.com/contact

If you're not comfortable replacing it yourself, you can use this page to fill out a warranty service request. Just fill out the form, print it, and ship the knife back to the address listed. http://zt.kaiusaltd.com/warranty/form

The 0300 series is pretty straightforward to disassemble and replace the torsion bar. Unless you are just really not comfortable doing so, I'd give it a try first, and if you aren't able to swap it out yourself, you can always ship it to ZT after.
