Just trying to decide between the two for my next purchase based on quality/collectability.
Any opinions welcome!

I think the tyrade is more collectable, the Ti one was a limited run if I recall correctly... As far as quality is concerned, you can't go wrong with either, KAI (Kershaw/ZT/Shun parent company) makes a killer product and stands by it. Good luck with the decision!

Absolutely go with the tyrade. if you can get it, buy a couple and hold on to one. they are rare, and will only get more so in the coming years.

Quality, they're both terrific.

Collect-ability, go with the Tyrade from Kershawguy. They're getting very hard to find now.

Tyrade, hands down, especially if it's the Ti version. Both are awesome quality knives, but the Ti Tyrade has a huge edge on collectibility.

I've owned two of each and the Tyrade is not only more collectible, but it's a much better designed knife. It feels better in the hand, it's lighter, it kicks harder, it looks nicer. Granted, it's not as hardcore, blade wise, as the 030x, and the handle isn't as grippy.

I sold both my 0301 and 0302 simply because I couldn't imagine a day where I'd rather carry it than my Tyrades or Bumps.

And that's saying something, because the 0300 is still a really nice knife in its own right.

As others have mentioned, Kershawguy has by far the best price on these right now.

Thanks for the advice guys...Tyrade first it is.
I have noticed that the 0301 and 0302 are out of stock most places, are they done manufacturing them?

The 0302 has been discontinued. The 0301 is still in production.

Thanks again for the advice again...after these two, all I want is another glow Manix II, a Spyderco Phoenix, a Benchmade Rift, a Spyderco Leafstorm, a ZT 0550.....oh yeah, and the upcoming ZT/Hindered flipper.
...and an Izula, orange.
:)
